Hino J08E Long Block Base Engine

The Hino J08E is an inline six-cylinder, water-cooled four-stroke turbocharged & aftercooled diesel base engine (Long Block). It adopts OHC 24-valve structure, DENSO high-pressure common rail direct injection system. Widely fitted on Hino 500 series medium trucks, city buses, mixer trucks and special engineering vehicles.

Equipped with dry cylinder liner, high-strength closed deck cylinder block, excellent long-term heavy-load durability. Multiple calibration versions support Euro III/Euro IV/Euro V emission standards, optional matching with EGR, SCR and DPR after-treatment system. This base engine (Long Block) is the core bare assembly without external attachments, convenient for customers to assemble original accessories according to vehicle configuration. It features stable operation under long-distance transportation, frequent start-stop and continuous heavy-load working conditions.
