The Isuzu 6BG1 is an inline six-cylinder, water-cooled four-stroke turbocharged mechanical diesel engine, equipped with mechanical inline plunger fuel injection pump without complex electronic control components. Tuned for sustained stable operation at 1500 rpm, widely used as main propulsion engine or auxiliary generator power on fishing boats, inland cargo ships, engineering work boats.

Designed with wet cylinder liners, convenient for onboard maintenance and overhaul. The cooling system supports marine circulating water cooling configuration.
